A mother and her unemployed son trade vicious barbs in a cramped flat, their rage almost a love language. When her "successful" other son visits, the humiliation cracks something open, and anger gives way to an unexpected tenderness. Gilles Treton's play is a bruising, ultimately hopeful portrait of how joy can sneak in through the wounds.
