A rising star takes the stage when SFS cellist Starla Breshears, fresh off winning the Klein Competition, joins the SFCO for Haydn's luminous Cello Concerto. The program also features the world premiere of Xavier Muzik's multimedia piece celebrating San Francisco neighborhoods, plus Strauss's sparkling Ariadne auf Naxos overture.
