Sun Nov 8, 5pm
Witty social commentary stand-up
Le Perreux-sur-Marne
Music by Grieg, Ravel, and Brahms
Poems by Lamartine, Verlaine, and Prévert woven in
Spotlights endangered birds and their songs
Legendary soprano Natalie Dessay trades the usual stage partner for something far wilder: a bird singer. Together with pianist Shani Diluka, they weave actual birdsong through works by Grieg, Ravel, and Brahms, plus poems by Prévert and Verlaine. It is part concert, part nature documentary for the ears, and entirely unlike anything else on your Sunday afternoon.
