This 100-foot tower of cypress trunks looks like it grew from the forest floor, but it's actually 37 felled trees bolted together by artist Andy Goldsworthy. The young cypress surrounding it will eventually swallow the sculpture whole: a meditation on renewal that's already begun to decay.
