Activity Description
"Bernd – Operation Germanenkind" is a theatrical performance about Bernd, an actor with a disability in a left-wing Berlin artists’ collective. The play follows the group as they travel to Peenemünde. Bernd, increasingly fascinated by the Third Reich, exhibits right-wing tendencies through loud, sexist, racist, and disrespectful behavior, challenging the group's moral certainties. As his provocations escalate, the group's tolerance erodes, leading to hatred and violence. The play is described as a dystopia exploring morality, power, and the fragility of democracy, featuring Bernd as a "wicked comedian" and "anarchist."
