Jack London's Cabin

Jack London Square, Oakland

🏔️"super fascinating relic, and the juxtaposition of it against the boats of the Marina (and the palm trees behind it) all add to the complicated beauty"

Half of Jack London's actual Klondike cabin sits on the Oakland waterfront: the other half lives in Dawson City, Canada. Palm trees and sailboats frame the 1898 logs where he dreamed up The Call of the Wild.
